Welcome to Watters Creek Senior Golf Association

 

 

Overview
The Association is for senior men (55 years of age and older) who enjoy the game of golf and want to associate with other like-minded individuals in a social and competitive environment. The annual membership fee is $20 and is prorated by quarter for new members (see League Registration page). Tournaments are held on Thursdays and detailed information on the tournaments can be viewed by selecting a year under the Seasons menu. Each season's scheduled and completed tournaments can be viewed on the season's league portal under the Tournament Details menu.

 

Membership
There are currently ~200 members and new applications are being accepted. The membership application is completed on-line using the link below or going to the home page of the current season. Submitted applications are routed to course management and association board members for approval and processing.

2024 Season Registration

Tournament Guests
Guests are invited to play on designated guest days and will be paired with their inviting member. Guests must also be men 55 years of age or older. Guests will be allowed to enter the CTP and Gross Skins side games, but are not eligible to enter the tournament or Hole In One competitions.

WCSGA Rules of Golf
Tournaments are played according to USGA Rules, as modified by Local Rules. Players are expected to be familiar with and apply the rules. Links to USGA and Local rules can be found under the Rules menu.

WCSGA Handicaps
Tournament handicaps are determined using the GHIN system for calculation of a handicap index in accordance with USGA rules. More information on the handicap procedure can be found under the Rules menu.

 

Choose Your Tee and Have More Fun
To provide all members with an enjoyable tournament experience, the option to play from one of three tee boxes is offered – White (the longest), Gold or Red. More information on choosing tees can be found under Tournament Info menu.
 

Side Games
On shotgun start tournament days there are optional side games available for additional cost. This includes Closest To the Pin, Hole In One and Skins. More information on side games can be found under the Tournament Info menu.
